Help me to get started!

Hi guys,

Thanks for all that great informations I found in here. There is alot of usefull stuff I have used to get ideas for my own business.

First I will like to introduce myself. I'm Jonas a 20 years old guy from Denmark. I've always been interested in sale and marketing. And I've always been interested in doing business online through websites, seo services and miscellaneous facebook service.

My idea is to start up my own company where I will offer my customers to get a website created for their offline business and seo service and I was also going to make a kind of facebook service which I will offer my customers putting up their facebook page and drive traffic to it and keep it regulary updated.

My problem is I dont know where to start. I dont know how to get customers to my business etc.

NB: The main market im trying to focus on is the danish market. But do you guys think it will be better to target the US market? As a reminder I'm living in Denmark. So is this a problem at all if I want to operate in the US?

I hope that there are some out there who want to give me some advice and guidance to get started with my business. Please write in this thread or send a pm to me here on the forum.

    On our website we offer free affiliate marketing lessons. Among those are lessons on search engine optimization, market research, marketing ideas, content creation, site building, and pay per click advertising. These lessons do not apply only to affiliate marketers but also to all types of internet marketers as well.

    With internet marketing, location is not often a problem. Seeing that you are in Denmark, which is a country that's in very good standing in all aspects, you should not have any problems at all. You can target any location in the world to market your services.

    Basically, if you want to be an internet marketer with your own websites where you sell your own services, you must be able to sign up for a domain name and a hosting service, as well as get approved by a payment processing service (so you can receive payments).

    If you are targeting the US, it is best to get a hosting service whose servers are located in the US. You should also look into the FTC regulations that have to do with internet marketing and selling services to US consumers.

      Hello Jonas,

      There is a program that I am familiar with called Power 3 Marketing. This program shows you how to help offline businesses get an online presence.

      I don't have an affiliation with this program. I am not sure if I can post a link to it here so google it if you want to learn more.

      I didn't go this route myself because it's not my thing but it may help you.

    You can target the US market if you want... But I don't know why you would. There is so much work for you right there in your own back yard.

    Also... just starting out... if they want to meet with you, you can run over there and grab a check payment for your services....

    Easy Peasy...

    Your thinking is on the right track though... You have started to formulate a plan, and a services list.

    That is good. But only the beginning.
