Price Adjusting Questions: (SEO)

Greetings,

I have gained a few clients in my offline venture and have been showing them all great results in regards to SEO. Though, I am now in a situation that I have asked too little for my SEO services and am not sure how I should go about increasing them. I have shown them all proven results in this short time that they've used my services, but when I priced out my packages - I was very timid that they would not jump onboard at the $250 - $300 type price range so I went low.

When my contracts expire with these clients, should I just increase my prices with them? Should I just be nice and continue charging the same thing with them, and hope this brings in more business, etc? My problem is, is that I'm in a market where people are not truly convinced on the power of the internet and having a strong position with the search engines. How do I convince them? Do you guys use reports to justify the costs?

Why do it the hard way? If you can get results, why not for each client, set up a site that you own that gathers leads which you then sell on to the client. It is the same as SEOing their sites except you don't have to tiptoe around their web designers or their code, and also you can request pay for performance - which sounds like it might be more than you are charging now.

If they stop paying for leads you can sell them to a competitor.

I use there results as a way to have them increase the business with me. Getting rankings is only ONE WAY to drive visitors and make revenue for the biz owner.

There are lots of way to help them funnel the right prospects to there website.

Also, if you don't plan on doing much, other then just up-keeping, there is no need to raise your rates - but I would ask for referrals though.

    Well,

I am doing quite a bit of SEO work for them. I'm also hosting and providing site maintenance, I mean there is always plenty of other clients I Can get with my low costs, etc. I just feel like I've undercut myself and am in a tough position if I ever want to raise my rates to what I think they should be (compared to the market prices).
