Quick and To The Point Advice For Being Successful

Just sent this out to my list, thought you would like to read it as well...

"You don't have to get it right, you just have to get it going."

Most people wait until everything is perfect until they take action. In our cases, wait until they have their website up, business cards, office, fax line, etc.

Problem with that is there is no way of knowing if what you're trying to sell (in our case, ourselves) is something people are willing to pay for. Until you put yourself out there and the market gives you feedback, you won't know what works and what doesn't.

Successful entrepreneurs get an idea and run with it. They get it out there. They get feedback and then adjust as they go.

That's really all any of this is...

Testing-->Feedback-->Make Adjustments-->More Testing-->More Feedback-->More Adjustments

It's a never ending cycle of testing, getting feedback, adjusting, and starting the process all over again.

Just start sailing, you can adjust your sails as you go.

Could not agree more - just get out there. But, make sure you understand a bit about what you are doing first and make sure it is measurable.

    Great post!

    Hi Vagabond 007,

Thats right. Keep going at it and make changes along the way.

I only realised this a couple of years ago after buying Apple products.
There is always a version .2 or .3 that comes out later.

    Thanks for reminding us.
    Cheers!

Dan Kennedy's January newsletter was predominantly about taking action.
He said you are either Do-ing or Do-Noting

You are so right.People have to just get it started some way.Just do something, test, improve, text, improve, a "never ending cycle" as you say.
"Just do it" , as an great motivational speaker and successful business man would say (i can't remember his name right now).
