18 Offline Profit Hacks for 2011

Hey all you fine folks. I created a cool little pdf (attached) as a small part of my recent WSO. It's called "18 Offline Profit Hacks for 2011" and it is sure to at the least get your mind going with some killer money making methods and ideas.

Not more than a 5 minute or so read but you won't regret it.

It's Sunday night and I felt like sharing.

Several of these are hugely profitable for myself and friends too.

    If you don't mind me asking, what font did you use for the PDF or how did you get that faded affect? If you don't want it on here, maybe PM me.

      Hey thanks Chad for the kind words, as well as everyone else!

      As for the font question it is a font called Batik Regular. It should already be in your fonts. I didn't use any type of fade or anything. Just the font itself.


      Also I wanted to mention that one of the Hacks gives an alternative for cold calling. But I wanted to clarify that if you are broke and need money like Yesterday then I believe simply calling up local businesses or another form of direct contact is the way to go.

      You should check out John Durham or Amir Luis (aka Louie) threads here for for some killer stuff.

      If you aren't broke and/or are looking to add some cool money making methods THEN this is a killer report for you.

    Nice tips! I like the Rubik's Cube idea...expand on that by putting a message or info link on a completed side - so when (if) they ever actually finish the darned thing...they get a goodie!

      I like your idea!

      Also, I wanted to mention that a few people have asked me about the FanPages for menus.

      I think that is a perfect moneymaker because Facebook is kind of a fun and social type site and restaurants are really popular on there in my local experience.

      They get a lot of comments and conversations going with their fans on FB.

      But most of them don't have a menu!!!

      And we can do that no problem right?

      You can target any business with a restaurant really, but I like the ones already on FB as a start, and the ones regularly commenting, because the already see the value on being on FB so that part of the sale is already taken care of for you.

      You can then get lead sources from your Yellow Pages which most have menus right there in them!

      Just contact them and tell them you can transfer their menu onto Facebook for them. Easy sale!

      As an extra incentive and more cash for you, design a few coupons the businesses can put with their menus on the Fanpage. Most restaurants have them.

      Print this off or suggest a friend become a fan and get a buy one get one free meal, or 25% off, or free dessert etc....

      You can repeat this type of system with a lot of different businesses really, and I think it's pretty cool stuff.

    Some great ideas and I thought one of mine was good...I use the following when cold calling and have for many years and it's relative cheap to implement but gets a lot of response and very rarely do I not get to speak with the owner or decision maker.

    When I walk into the door I hand a single red rose to the gatekeeper and they are speechless. Attached to the rose is a business card that has a small hole in the corner to allow it to be attached to the stem with florist wire. This is real cheap and easy to work with.
    Also attached to the rose is a small baggie that contains a few Hershey Kisses. So I have just confused them and they got a rose and chocolate candy. Now I can also do no wrong....Not to mention the word of mouth that goes with it is priceless.

    The Roses come from Sam's at an average cost of $6-7.00 per dozen some times I get them for $10 for 24.
    The candy from the Dollar store same for the bags...Dollar stores are great for cheap promo items.
    Business cards...well we all better have them.

    I have about .60 in each rose set up but it gives me a lot of goodwill. You cant beat the price or the results.

    One side note.....If we end up getting work from the company when we return to do the contract, collect the money or for whatever reason we the bring a small vase with roses or some other pretty flowers from Sams at a total cost of about $5.00. Now.....we have garnered as much goodwill from the gatekeeper as you can get. When we call we always get through as she remembers us as the flower guys.

    This is my first post and I have learned a lot from this forum so I thought I would give something back.

        Hey Brandon, awesome is an understatement for me personally, and my wife also thanks you a ton! She even offered to "manage my business" now or become my PA, it's become that good all of a sudden... lol Really hope it stays this way or better, grows even faster...

        As you can see I've gone full speed ahead and I've sold more since that last post with a ton of "maybes" in the pipeline for me to follow up with and close.

        Bottom line, I have more leads to close now from using your hack than I've ever had.

        As for the actual hack, a lot of my local direct competition likely browses here, so if it's all the same to you I'll just PM you the hack I hooked into.

        Suffice it to say it's been pay day almost daily since my last post above. So, many thanks again!
