My Offline Consulting Website

I need to set up my offline consulting website to show potential clients.

I've got my domain and a site template already.

Just need to get a logo done now.

Any ideas where I can outsource the keyword research and get the content done for my site?

Who can write good, seo optimised content for my site outlining my services?

Try fiverr for you logo. There are some people on there that are really good. I have found good graphics, good copy writes, and writers there. You maybe able to get everything you need. But also beware that you may have to spend a few fives to before you find someone good.

Great to see another warrior taking action and helping local offline businesses.
    Well done.

Getting your business set up right can save you lots of hassle down the road.
To get your logo there are several different places i've tried and they are all
good but it really depends on your budget.

The first is 99designs.com, its a little expensive if you're just starting
but you'll get lots of people designing you lots of logos and you can choose
the one you like the most.

The next depending on your budget is to try elance.com, you can sometimes get
a good outsourcer from here to design the logo but you can also get some really bad ones.

What i really think is the best option, especially if you're going to be
designing websites/graphics for local businesses is to get a software called "The Logo Creator"
from laughingbird software I've got it, its brilliant, easy to use and i can create some
    masterpiece logos in minutes.

Next about the keyword research. If you haven't already got it, get yourself a copy
of Market Samurai. It will save you hours of frustration especially if you need to produce
quick keyword research and SEO competition analysis to help you rank higher than your competitors
in the search engines.. I've had this for years and my offline clients think i have a secret
magic wand that tells me which keywords to target and which ones to avoid to deliver results.

If you still want to outsource the keyword research, definitely try Fiverr.com, but don't expect
the best results (you get what you pay for).

Finally if you need good content for your site, check out Calvin and Patricia's service
InstantTrafficCreation.com, they are a lovely couple, i've worked with them and they
are always over-delivering and available to help.

    good luck getting set up.

I've used the logo creator for years (bought it when it was more expensive) - and I also have the web graphics creator.

      Absolutely love love LOVE them.

Fact is, they're great for creating banners, ads/ad templates, in addition to the logos.

NOTE: I really don't use the web graphics creator for the other features there - (ebooks, buttons) - I prefer to just use it alongside logo creator - they're similar. For some reason my "add on" templates that I'd bought only work with the web graphics creator - hence why I use it so much more for the logos. Not sure what happened there lol - but I've had them both for years and absolutely wouldn't use anything else.

I've paid for logos *once* since I bought the software, and frankly I could have done just as good a job (and I'm NOT a graphics person). I've considered buying some again since, but just can't bring myself to do it lol - when the software is there, it's so easy and fast to just do it with what is in my mind.

Get a membership at somewhere like iStockphoto to add other pics or clipart to your graphics that maybe the logo creator doesn't have, and you're going to probably do just as good of a job as hiring out. (Because they pretty much do the same thing, although some use photoshop instead of TLC... for the cost, i'd stick with TLC).

      • I was searching the forum today and just happened onto this thread!

@urmilp and @dime-co (Amber! Nice to see you in here!), I really appreciate the kind words. And the plug for the software

Let me know if I can do anything for either of you.

I'm actually currently giving away a version of The Logo Creator on my Facebook page ( Laughingbird Software | Facebook ) if anybody is interested. (it's not a trial version or anything, it's the real thing.)

99designs is a really good quick solution. And Market Samurai is a must.

I'd look somewhere different that Fiverr. I tried a couple of gigs and it was a waist of time.

if you're still stuck with getting the content written, contact Patricia Lin of Instant Traffic Creation. I've used her before for tasks such as article content writing and backlink building.

    Very professional and really helpful.

    She's also on this forum.
