2 News reports on technology for our info (one is qr codes)

Thought this was interesting, the first one is stuff they're doing in Hong Kong already:

CNN.com - Breaking News, U.S., World, Weather, Entertainment & Video News

The other is about the QR codes "taking over america" LOL.

Video - Breaking News Videos from CNN.com

Just more definite proof for anyone thinking it will be slow to take hold...

There is almost no competition for marketing mobile services including QR.

Yeah I know - I'm seeing them around, but mainly only on "big" company stuff like bestbuy (as was mentioned in the video) and on wine bottles, but not a whole lot else yet locally. But - when we do see something, even my hubby goes, 'Hey - there's another one' LOL.

LOL! Yes, the big "secret" has already been out for some time. For the past several years we've been nailing large businesses nationwide like fast food franchisees, health food stores, retail chains, real estate, insurance, manufacturing, hospitals, automotive, transportation, security companies, etc for all kinds of mobile marketing services. It's not just "QR codes", but also NFC (Near Field Communication) are going mainstream. And SMS texting and pay by mobile phone are extremely hot right now.

To start, google for "SMS marketing companies". There's literally millions of providers to provide SMS texting services for your clients. You can also just google for "QR code generators". There's also millions of free online QR code generators. That's probably the easiest way to break into it. I think there are also a number of warriors who provide these services as well as some WSOs available. Many businesses are very much aware of this technology, and if you can provide it for them the market is wide open.

Recently Starbucks began offering pay by mobile phone using NFC (near field communications) instead of credit card. In the CES electronics show in Las Vegas last month, Apple and some droid phone companies announced their next iteration of mobile phones will include NFC and similar other enhanced technology built in. There are no easy pointers, except to keep up with what your clients are looking at and be in position to offer it to them.

I use callfire.com although as I said there are many other fine companies that can provide this outsourcing. The company I use has lots of training resources including online tutorials, webinars, and account reps to assist you.
