Also what type of service do you advertise?

Are you getting clients from your offline ads?

I have several niche product sites (dropship) that I advertise in smaller papers. Sometimes they hit, sometimes they don't, but i use domain.com/offernumber to track which ones work, and adjust accordingly.

I advertise a few of my products and services (smartphones/calling plans, SMS and voice texting, targeted advertising, etc), with mixed results, but I have found it works better by advertising for commission sales reps LOL!

Twenty three years ago spent (or should say wasted) THOUSANDS of dollars on newspaper advertisement for financial planning seminars. Results were next to nothing.

The BEST newspaper adverising for those same seminars was from getting the organization where I was conducting the seminar to submit a press release or public service announcement FREE to the newspaper - always resulted in a packed house.

Newspapers give you less time or chance for exposure to your audience than online ads do, that is why I no longer do any print advertising, only online by means of my website.
