Are You Sure You Want To Be An Offline Consultant?

Before you buy another WSO or any course on offline consultant, read this.

I'll share to you something that will save you lots time and money.

Being simply a "consultant" is just like having an JOB. And worst, you have to work harder and longer.

The reason, why some consultant make a little more than being an employee is...

...they have freedom.

Freedom to work even longer and harder. They work 10-16 hours a day. Naturally, you'll make more money with that hours.

What I'm leading up to is this: Consultant = Job

If what you're really hoping for is to quit your day to day job, make more money, and have more time...

... Build A Consulting Business.

It took me 2 years to realize this.

When I say business, meaning it has a structure. You have sales people, billing dept, support, etc.

Or else...

you'll all do the job like...

... preparing proposal
... follow up the proposal
... meeting with clients
... follow up the materials (web articles, pics, etc.)
... follow up the approval of your work
... follow up the payment
... making phone calls
... marketing your business
... supporting previous client
... and a lot more.

The truth is, if you don't follow my advice you're better of on honing your online marketing skills and then work for a large corporation. I know some online marketers in corporate world making $75k to $150k per year.

They work less, sleep better, vacation leaves, and other perks as an employee.

So Do You Really Want To Be A Consultant?

This is true with any business someone wants to start.
    Not just being a consultant.

If you don't find a way to enable you to separate yourself from your business.
You do have a job. More hours More stress
Get yourself in a position where your business runs almost on auto pilot.
So you can go on vacation, and not have to worry about your business.

    Great post.

That is definitely true. If you want to succeed you need to put in the time. Putting time into your business = Success, as long as the time your spending is not just checking your emails, and policing the forums, lol.

Wow! You got my attention with that one. I've got all of my client on the front page and I find my free time doing just that...I guess I need to step up my game! Not really, I am working hard on an actual project; I did think what you said was super funny, though!
