      That's fantastic news, congrats! As Dexx says, now you're off the mark it's important to run with it and create momentum. Stuff that pipeline like a thanksgiving turkey and you will always be busy.

      It's good to have clients at different stages of the sales and project development process. That way your business is never idle when delays happen and you have to wait on a client for info/money/approval etc. You can simply skip to another project and maintain a high level of productivity.

    Congratulations!

    I know how that feels and really, instead of focusing on getting clients, make sure that you deliver too. That was one of the things I learned the hard way, I was too intent on getting clients that I forgot I had to deliver. I lost more than I found. But things changed. Sometimes, its just a matter of priorities

      Actually I got this through a referral..someone who i had helped for free once before recommended my service to my new client.

      Also it wasnt a straightforward yes. There were lots of negotiations which went on for about a week before saying ok lets do it.
