A Strong Opt-In Offer for Dentists

Any ideas on what bait works well for Dental practices?

The dentist I'm working with is afraid of giving away anything
that will take up too much time. At first one of the dentists wanted
to offer a free whitening coupon with the purchase or use of another service
along with it but then her partner shut that idea down.

Any ideas on how we can get email addresses?

They need an excuse to collect email addresses?

Simple. Use the customers' email addresses to send appointment reminders.

"Tooth hurting? Don't miss your next appointment! Just fill in your email address and we'll notify you 24 hours before your next scheduled appointment."

The dentists need to think beyond the first visit. What her partner doesn't realize is that her "shut that idea down" moment just cost her company at least $50K in additional revenue for 2011...and exponentially more in 2012 from repeat appointments and more complex (spendy) procedures...all from new customers captured with their aggressive marketing events....customers and appointments that otherwise wouldnt have occurred naturally.

Each customer is a perpetual stream of revenue...not a quick sale.

...I know you already know that.

In your next meeting ask them what the average revenue value of a customer is per year...and....on average, how many more chairs they think they could fill per week.

Then ask them if they averaged just one more appointment per day all year long, how much extra revenue would that be? (based on their daily average$$)

Now they will have made themselves understand the benefit of putting a system in place that will aggressively put customers in their doors. AND they know how many new customers they need in circulation to reach their goal....which also means they know at what point they can stop giving away some of their time and get back to business as usual....that might make the leary ones feel better and understand the bigger picture.

    Good Luck.

ps: ...good to see Queens represented! ...I used to live just across the Queensboro bridge...spent many many hours in queens and manhattan as a foot messenger before I went on to bigger and better things. Man I miss NY.
