Backlinking to clients websites
I read in the forums a little while back about building a backlinking empire, and it talked about building multiple sites to link to your clients sites. This is a good idea, however for the best results these sites would have to be on a different server than the clients sites.
With this said I would like to build a Directory site for my state with helpful how to information as well to keep the site fresh. I will get another server for this site and futures niche sites to point to my clients sites.
Has anyone done this before? How were your results?
