Mobile Sites in YOUR Offline business? Here's what I'm gonna do...

I have a local community magazine I publish (print and mail) (and license across the US). I've been doing quite a bit of research online and offline on mobile websites. This is a service that I'm excited to offer my clients ... almost no competition.

It seems like a natural fit for my local business customers as 99% don't have OR have never heard of mobile websites! I myself am getting ready to have a mobile site built for my advertising publication and will then offer mobile sites to my local customers as well as incorporate QR codes into their print advertising!

How many of you currently offer mobile sites in your offline consulting business? What is the hardest part (if any) in selling the mobile sites.

What do you charge for mobile sites (price range)?

    Hi, I am currently working in my local market offering mobile web design with much success. Its wide open with very little competition...I cold call local business that use flash sale sites like Groupon, Living Social ect...My pitch is I offer to do a 1 page mock up of their site for a 10 min meeting. Once in the meeting first educating the biz owner the value of having a mobile ready site. The I show them their site on a smart phone then the mobile ready site and at this point they are pretty sold. My charges which I am experimenting with still..but at this time I charge $397 for up to a 6 page site with 2 revisions.

      That's a really great idea ... offering the 1 page mock up in exchange for a meeting! Do you build your own mobile sites or outsource?

        I build them my self using a html script.
