How Not To Run An Offline Marketing Campaign

Hi

At christmas I given a magazine subscription to Men's Health, and this month's edition arrived, and as it arrives in a cellophane wrapper it has all of the advertisement still inside it - I usually shake these out in the shop!

Anyway one of them was for a new fashion brand, it was offering 15% off online orders, and it looked like something I'd be interested in.

On going to the website they are busy re-designing the website and all it has is a phone number to get a catalogue. If I had forked out to get a leaflet campaign in a national magazine I would have made sure to get my site online, and at least have a decent lead capture page.

Here's the site, I think they need to hire someone who knows how to run a proper offline campaign.

Wow... Well I'm not here to insult anyone, so I'm going to bite my tongue. But things like this just make us all more grateful for having a resource like this forum...

That's gotta be a very expensive mistake. I imagine the owners have tons of cash to throw away. I wonder if they'd like to adopt?

Looks like they are just having too much money to waste!

But there can be some unexpected things involved, like their website got hacked, some problems with server or something else. But they could create some backup plan, but they didn't, so really stupid thing to do!
