Google Places Question

I'm signing up a client for Google Places. Google recommends using the business email for the Google Places account:

"If possible, use an email account under your business domain. For example, if your business website is Google, a matching email address would be you@google.com."

Does this mean If I use her business domain address that I will have to use this same address for the accounts for citations or is it ok to us a different email address?

      I understand to keep the email in the listing in directories the same as the maps listing but I'm referring to the email address I sign up with initially to open the directory accounts

      Of course we have to keep same email ID for Google Place. But can anybody tell me what is Google Place?

      As I know Google Place is a new product of google that allows user the address of their business place in google map with contact info like yellow pages.

      Guys if u know better than me please let me know that coz I want to know that information.

    I have noticed that some businesses will show up in GP listings but be in other cities. How do we go about getting listed in several cities without having separate addresses?

      One of the things I learned years ago as a website designer is to establish my own email under every account. Thus I setup webmaster@example.com for each account. This is the address I used for setting up our Google Places accounts. It also makes it easy for the client never to forget my email . . .LOL

        In your G places listing navigate to Service Areas and Location Settings then select Yes, this business serves customers at their locations Add all the places you want to be listed for under: List of areas served
