I would love to be on your referral list. However, I live in Asia in the Philippines, so my local clients would come from here. I do SEO for clients living or have businesses in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia - they are online clients.

Maybe if your clients need link variety or boost from time to time, my team and I may be able to support you.

You may not want to just limit it to online resources. Many local businesses could benefit greatly from mediums such as direct mail.

While being on the front of google, and having an active facebook page, and getting recurring from text messages to existing customers are all 25x more effective than being burried in the yellowpages. Direct mail can do something all of those things can't do.

Reach the prospects that don't yet have a clue that their life would be better with (insert local service) so they havn't even started looking yet.

Google catches those that realize they have a need and go looking...but that group of people is just a fraction of the potential customers within reach of (insert local business) If you could get to those people now you could help create a customer sooner than the 5 years it would have taken for them to figure it out on their own.
If you want to get to everyone else, direct mail is probably the best way to get it done...and really, it doesn't cost anymore than the yellowpages. Consistent direct mail can be used to educate the public, keep the name fresh in peoples minds, and position (insert local business) as the authority. Obviously the Yellowpages can't do that...but neither can being on the front of Google.
