Outsourcing - what info is needed?

I have someone lined up to start making phone calls and getting appointments. I can do some of the work myself but Id' like to start outsourcing some of the backend work as well. The following services are what I'd want to outsource.

1. Wordpress website design and setup
2. SEO research and getting customer site to #1 Google page
3. Backlinking
4. Customer Google Places on 1st page

So let's say I end up getting a client. What information do I need to collect to give to the people that I'm outsourcing to? Do I just say "my client is a hair salon and here's their physical address"?

Or do I need to give them more detailed info? I want to make sure that when I get a customer, I ask all the questions necessary and collect the info to send to my outsource people.

Also, how much profit do you usually add onto the outsourced service? For instance. If you're being charged $60 for SEO research, do you charge $100 to your client?

Lastly, do you recommend any particular person or company for the above services?

Thanks

Mike

    Hey Mike,

So let's say I end up getting a client. What information do I need to collect to give to the people that I'm outsourcing to? Do I just say "my client is a hair salon and here's their physical address"?
Different tasks require different info. If you're doing a Google Places listing you'll need a lot less info than if you're building a website for them.

I use a 3 document system to fulfill the different services I provide. Each task has it's own set of 3 docs.

The client inputs doc will outline exactly the info I need for a particular task.

The vTeam Blueprint (virtual team) doc will have the client's info, timelines, tools and task training needed to do the task.

And the Master blueprint has the strategy outline, pricing, packages, tools and resources needed to successfully outsource the task.

You can get a better sense of how it all works at my site (see sig) OfflineCashBlueprints.com

You really need a system to be able to outsource all the work, otherwise you'll work way too hard, and doing things you shouldn't be doing.

Your best job should be finding clients, not all the busy work of fulfillment.

    Hope that helps.

I've got a pretty good designer I could recommend you, PM me if you want his Skype name. Only thing is you'd have to find a programmer as well (up to you).

As for SEO stuff, keep it local to WF and go with Hoist. Check the warrior services section.

In terms of the upsell price, my costs are usually 30% or less of what I charge. So if it cost me $60.00, I'd charge $200.00, if not more.
