How I Got My First Two Clients ..

Hey Guys,

My main business is Network Marketing (MLM)
and I always tell my team that people like to do
business with those they know, like, and Trust.

I have been thinking about dipping my toe into
this whole Offline thing but didn't feel I knew enough
about it yet so I have been absorbing the threads
on these Forums.

Yesterday I was having lunch with a friend who
owns a successful Insurance Agency. I asked her
what she was doing on Facebook to grow her business

SHe was NOT interested in Facebook so i backed off
and asked her about her Website. As it turns out she
had somebody who wanted to to do her website for her

I told her I could do the website. Since she is a friend I
offered her a really good deal. $300 for a Custom Wordpress
site. She IMMEDIATELY agreed without thinking about it

But here's the COOL part. She deals with TONS of business
owners. So I told her I'm giving her a great deal and I'm going
to knock her socks off and I expect referrals. She said of course!

When I got home I got a call from a friend who is a Seminar
Speaker. I asked him if he has a website. He said he did but
it was kind of lame. While on the phone I asked him for the URL
and he was wrong, It wasn't "kind of lame" It was BIG TIME LAME!

He said that he had somebody who was going to redo it for Free
but was kind of new and learning. I told him I could do a killer site
for $300 and he Immediately agreed

So now I have two jobs within a matter of hours, a portfolio to
show and the good possibility of many referrals. I'm not making a ton
of money on these deals but I'm helping my friends while getting my
offline business off the ground.

Did I mention I'm not a web designer? I have a guy doing the sites
for me for $100 a pop. So I'll make a few hundred bucks and get some
experience in putting deals together.
