Going for the Larger Checks

While getting clients from selling a service can open doors, it can also be time consuming.
Sometimes the smaller sales are simply not worth it.

Going after companies where 1 - 10 new sales a month can make a huge difference to them, is where I am going now.

I'm in the process of doing this.

Here's what I'll be doing:

Going after larger ticket businesses, such as granite kitchens, home builders, boat sales, luxury car dealers (feel free to add to this list)

1) Set an appointment via phone either by myself or commission sales people
2) Before the appointment gather intel on the company, their keywords and opportunities

Looking for companies that:

* Are not page 1 on Google
* Are not page 1 of Google Places listings
* Are currently advertising anywhere (yellow pages, TV, Radio)

Looking to replace their budget with my results.

I think by looking after entire online marketing, rather than 1 strategy at a time has major benefits to you and the client:

For the client, you are the go to guy / girl
All there marketing efforts are under 1 roof so to speak.

For you, larger clients are better to deal with,
more money means higher quality of service you can deliver
you don't need 100 clients to do well.

Here is the major services you can do on a monthly basis:
1) Google Places + maintained
2) Local SEO for 6 major keywords
3) Adwords management
4) Social Media management
5) Split testing
6) Video marketing

All of the 6 can be outsourced for less than $1,500

Getting the larger clients also means being able to pay your sales people better and hire staff.

Any thought or ideas on this?

That can all be outsourced for a lot less than $1,500.00. Probably around $500 or so a month depending on the SEO part. Definitely a solid plan though, always nice to see people setting themselves up for success.

    Good luck!
