Can Anyone Recommend Me An Offline Guide For The Uk Market?

Hi,

I am basically after anything which covers the Uk market, laws, contract etc. I have looked around but I can't seem to find anything which covers the UK. Hope you can help.

    Well as for laws, those will be hard to get specifically. But in terms of contracts, a generic one should suffice.

    As for courses/guides, something that works in the states should not be too difficult to convert to UK standards. For instance, you guys might not have a chamber of commerce, but I'm sure you have something similar to that degree.

    Hey Dal,

    In terms of strategies in a lot of the US courses, you can still apply them in the UK, except for all the craigslist stuff [hate craigslist uk]!

    With the laws, you need to have a document that spells out the terms and get the client to sign it. For most clients, I write a simple 2 page agreement myself and they are legally binding [I come from a legal background].

    If the deal is complex, then use solicitors.
