Ok - I have decided to go in head first with google places. If you don't have the time to cold call, what are the best alternatives to generating customers and how much should I charge for set-up and monthly maintenance.

guess you have to go with other marketing methods,

    flyers
    postcards
    networking
    social media
    walk ins
    etc

You don't have time to cold call or you are putting it off?

All other marketing methods to sell Google Places will take "time", perhaps less so than some others such as networking etc.

Are you sure time is the problem?

To be successful, you're going to need to start cold calling these people. If time is really an issue, and you have money, hire someone to cold call. Commission only sales!

Cold calling is a scary prospect but whats the worst that could happen? Just take a deep breath, relax and start making calls...If you can't or won't do it yourself then you'll need a telesales team to do it for you, you'll need to provide product training so they know what they're talking about and GOOD telesales services don't come cheap.

If I were you I'd do it myself, you know your product better than anyone else and remember....every 'no, brings you closer to a 'YES'
