Help with choosing a keyword

Can someone give me advice on a keyword? I have a few keywords that I am trying to pick from and not sure which one would be the best as I'm new to this.

The first one has the following stats:

SEARCHES LAST MONTH: 18100
EST. TRAFFIC: 605
WEBSITE COMPETITION: 391
ARTICLE POWER: 7.4
PPC POWER: 5

    Think of it this way. Take the total amount searches divide it by the est traffic. You will get some number of course. Then, determine where you can place on the 1st page of Google. The #1 listing gets typically 70% of the traffic, next about 15%, next about 7% and everything falls off from there. These rough numbers of course.

    You should also go to Microsoft OCI to see whether the keyword has Online Commercial Intent - in other words are these money words?

    Hope this helps. We've done this plus a number of other analytics on keywords, especially when we've been trying to brand and monetize our entertainment celebrities.

    What are the keywords for? That is a very important deciding factor. I would need to know more before I could help. If it is for a local business, just give us the keyword without the city name in it.

    Why settle on one keyword? Are they all in the same niche? If so optimize different pages on the site for the phrases.
