WORD PRESS: "DO I like Green Eggs and Ham"?

Took longer running errands than I figured, then went to Napolis, a TRULY italian restaraunt. Its run by people who are really from italy, and they seem to understand our perception of italy because they wait on you with sort of a dramatic flair... its like they are intentionally giving you what a "tourist" type might want to see...

Anyway. just now getting settled in... I will let you know here when there's progress...

At this point Im still looking at concepts... maybe a personal blog?

I dont know... what can you do with a blog?

  YEP that was me when I first tried wordpress too...hehe took me a couple of hours of going on and off...then I just bought a theme seems like the paid ones didn't have what I really was looking for...

John, I went to webmaster's school and learn to build web sites. I have DreamWeaver, but most of my sites are WordPress sites. Learn it you'll love it.

  My first son, I was there a day and a half while she tried to pop that "little guy" out...turned out he was 11lbs 14 1/2 ounce..delivered by caesarian at 4:30 am .

He's out, an he's a beauty! 7lbs 4oz. Thanks guys for the well wishes! Bon is fine too. It happened before we could get a babysitter so Im running back and forth from the lobby alot between her and the kids, but will pop in here and there. Still excited about the Kim Project too BTW... lots of great ideas. He's a beauty though yall!

Well I have a daughter and 3 grandsons, and she has a daughter and son as well... Now we have this little fella... A WHOLE SLEW Mrs. Faulkonator!

But we both love kids so... we did separately and we do together so we're all about it. I had a chance to be with him some a little while ago. We are gonna get along just fine. Thanks for all the well wishes guys!

BTW: @ Steve, yeah I have been hiring webdesigners since my first project and I learned to make homestead websites years ago, I usually use those when I want to do something myself... many millions in sales later, Im learning WP cuz all my WF homies think Im missin the boat and we cant have that!

Plus I was checking out a WSO by a young guy here Will Perkins, and he made it look easy, so Im gonna follow his tutorial and do it... last night was a long night of restlessness... and today my son decided he was tired of waiting... lol

So, it may be delayed for a day or so but I have three goals this week:

1: Run two appointments
2: Build a WP site
3: Outline a Mega All Star Warrior WSO Project for the cause you see in my sig.

Other than that I gotta get the boy and mom home safely and get things back to normal around here.

It always make me giggle a bit about when people think of this as a blog. WordPress.com is a blog. Wordpress.org is a CMS that happens to have a nifty blog inside it. It comes default setup as a blog, but I would suggest the two things you do first is set the the permalinks to something that looks right to you, and see if those work (have no idea what you are hosted on). Then make a static page - go to the "reading" section and set your front page and your blog page. I find those are the two things most people have questions about in the beginning. After that, it can get really deep as you like so have fun
