CPA wants to take advantage of this years tax season

I have an offline client that I picked up a few weeks ago to do his site. After I redesigned his site, we decided to do a pretty comprehensive online marketing plan (5 keyword targeted sites, backlinks, videos, etc). However, it's going to take some time to get those sites and videos ranked.

He wants to at least try to take advantage of this years tax season which pretty much ends in three weeks.

My question is, what would YOU do to drive some traffic to his site for the next three weeks until the end of tax season? Adwords? Banner ads on local sites?

PPC campaigns are the FASTEST, bar none, way to drive traffic. The key is doing the research, of course, to figure out the right keywords. And, then, to measure the results. This is especially true because you don't have the time for organic search to rank. Banner ads will take too long to decide your media buys.

You might want to look into a FB ad, pretty much a classic ad campaign that you can have only show up on pages at a certain time for a certain group. I think for a CPA that is a fairly straightforward ad. Of course it will cost around 1.50 a click or more.

Thanks Grin. I was just looking at this. Told him that I would create a quick FB IFRAME page for him and set him up with FB ads.

He never had an adwords account so I got him a $75 credit with adwords as well...
