As per the title, I can do some html , I have no wish to do any design work, so what is the best mobile website software for me and how much coding, etc will be needed for a basic site say 4 pages from a simple menu page

thanks

Sorry I couldn't upload hyperlinks because this forum is painful.

Great mobile website course, maybe if you have a couple of bucks purchase it.

Check out Scott's thread here and purchase the link in his signature. It's a WSO that is outstanding. If you can follow the steps on a video you'll be building mobile sites in no time.

The best $33.50 I have ever spent.

If you are creating a WP site, instal the mobile pack,(sorry, can't remember just now) into wp site and activate it. That formats it for mobile, kill 2 birds with 1 stone, and it's free

Cybamage is right. Wordpress plus Mobile Pack (I think it is called Mobile Switcher) will do wonder. Search WP plugin for Mobile Pack and you will find it

Buy Quentin's WSO. For $34 bucks it's the best deal out there. If you can do basic HTML then you can make an excellent mobile page. Seriously, just go get it and get on it. I knocked my first template in a little over an hour while learning the system and trying access a new hosting account.

Formatting a WP site for mobile is one thing. Creating a site specifically for mobile is another. I've seen the formatted WP sites and they are marginal, although functional.

If you are serious about building a mobile site get Quentin's WSO. If it's just a nice add on for existing sites then likely no big deal. There is so much you can do to make it really snazzy and high functional for the needs of the mobile browser.

You're some what comfortable with HTML/CSS so I suggest getting a mobile theme from Theme Forest.

You can switch out colors, images, text, and backgrounds etc. easily and they look great.
