Printing and pricing of pizza box flyers

Mike, for the $100 you are spending I can hook you up with 1000 "full color" highly professional glossy flyers (on magazine style paper)

This is an easy question to answer. Let the client buy them. If you do it you should be marking up the cost of the flyers, your time to procure them and provide them to the client. Be their marketer not the supplier of basic materials like the flyers. Give them the design and Doran's contact info and then do something more fun ;-)

unless you want to strike a deal with them and hit up some other local biz and put there add on the flyer and make additional money..

I would get them printed for them. If you just give them the flyer or PDF and they go from there they contact they get may talk them into doing the work and you would lose the account.
Get good pricing, if you get the full color make sure it includes shipping. Hope it has a coupon so it can be tracked for ROI.

I would definately sell ads on the flyers to other local businesses if you are going to cover the cost of the flyers. But then again I don't know what your overall business strategy is.

Have you tried Minute Man Press? Don't know if you have one around you but I believe they are a national franchise each individually run but around me they have some phenominal prices.

This is shotgun marketing which is always a losing proposition unless you have big boy money to brand your business everywhere and by big boys I mean like Coke and Nike
. In order to get the best results for your marketing efforts you need to IDENTIFY your target market and have a laser focus on them. One of the best ways to do this is through direct mail. You can get a list that is very narrow fairly inexpensively. My guys name is Shep 888-777-8764. He can dissect a list like no ones business, you just need to know what traits your target client has.

It would definitely depend on your agreement. If you think you can shoulder the costs of the flyers, then its okay for you to do the layout. But if you gonna ask me, I would just give the design to the client and let them do the rest. I can have fun afterwards

Order 1,000 and supply your own paper stock. Take it to a real Print shop and it should cost you less than half that.

The problem I have found with them is that their printing doesn't hold up. I had business cards that the ink just smears away when you carry them in your wallet. Makes me a bit concerned with the hold up factor when it comes to greasy pizza.

I'm sorry BUT....it took me 4 Triials with GotPrints, VistaPrint and 2 other OnLine printers BEFORE I found one that had a GREAT Price and GREAT PRODUCTS that did NOT...breakdown or something else "happened" with the product.

You can take the "Advice" of the people pushing GotPrint and VistaPrint HOWEVER....In MY Humble Opinion....the folks recommending those Printing Cos on this Forum....have NOT...used them!

I had to do what's commonly known as, "PAY THE PRICE!" And...the Printer I found....I am NOT about to simply "GIVE this source to anyone" (AND...I'm NOT gonna charge for it either) YOU go and "Pay the Price"....like the rest of us "Doers" had to do!

I have used Vista Print and I liked what I received at a very economical price. Funny thing is, my local supplier of business cards, just goes through Vista Print and marks them up. LOL.

I think you should defintely provide the printing etc. Everywhere on this forum people say business owners don't have time to do these things...that's why we make sales. They get a marketing system they never have time to do themselves. Outsource it if you want but I think the provided service is half the deal...
