i Am not sure jet about sms marketing. Is like when someone call to your home to sell things.

I'm not too concerned with pitching, how to get appointments etc but would love to analyse some REAL case studies on successful campaigns; what people did, what worked what didn't just to get additional info as I know this will be the web design/adwords of 5 years ago.

Why don't you do a google, or any search engine for that matter, search for SMS, text message marketing, text messaging, etc and read what all the articles have to say about it? There are tons of people who spill their guts and it is all free.

You will want a program from a very reputable reseller to white label. The Internet has a gadzillion people offering their programs. Simply read their terms of service to see what you actually get for your time and/or money. It is that easy.

If you are familiar with today's cell phones, you won't have to bother with finding a reseller. It is easier to do it that way but you aren't forced to use any of the services. For example, I have a phone that allows me unlimited everything as does my plan. If I was smart, I'd develop a presentation for local business people to show them how to turn their own cell phones into their own mobile message command center. But, I am not smart. Hopefully I will get smart next week.

I have a white label site that appeals to many in our local biz community so I use it to generate some nice revenue for myself. You don't have to use it or anyone else's if you know how to turn their phone into an instant SMS center. I may put this info into a report some time in the future especially since I've learned how truly broke some wanna be SMS marketers really are. They could take this info and turn it into an instant revenue stream. It would be win-win-win.

That isn't a slam, it is pure fact. Everyone can see the money possibilities but not many have the money to enter the possibility jungle. Trust me, I've talked to a lot of people so I gave them my white label program on the honor basis, ie no upfront money and they didn't get off their duff to do anything even w/a free program.

You see, no matter what program or whose program you use, you must sell it. Nothing sells itself. It takes face to face, nose to nose, toes to toes contact. That's all there is to that.

Again, not slamming anyone just reporting the facts as I live them. If you truly want to sell SMS do your homework, weigh and scale the costs you'll incur and charge forth. Some people are already doing it with great success. They took the time to become as expert as they could be in SMS.

That probably was more than you wanted to hear or read but that is the state of affairs in SMS marketing today. Truth is, a lot of the players won't be around by the end of the year because they are pricing themselves way too high and the cell phone companies are getting smarter and smarter about SMS text message advertising.

As soon as sprint or verizon actually realizes what they have in their grubby mobile arsenal, you can kiss some of the chest thumpers good bye. Believe me, they will create an app and start charging for it and nobody will be able to match the pricing. In fact, truth be known, you can't match their pricing now if you do it right.

I've gone on long enough and do apologize for being windy. However, get educated and jump into the water while revenue is there for the picking. Good luck to you.

You can learn about SMS marketing only by participating in it. It is an effective marketing method though.

I've been messing around tonight with the Twilio Open VBX application, and within a couple hours I created a killer application I'll be presenting to a local pizza shop on Monday morning. It does everything I need it to do for them for setting up SMS campaigns.

For someone looking to get into SMS marketing, Twilio is a platform that you should seriously consider. Rather than "white label", consider doing your own thing using the Twilio Open VBX software. If you are familiar with Wordpress, you will love Open VBX.
