Best offline WSO's / Courses / Software?

Hey guys!

Looking for your ideas on the best offline resources ( WSO's, Courses, Geo software tools...etc...) that you have used and recommend. These can be general (i.e. offline consulting) or area specific (i.e. google places).

    I'd say there's plenty of free content already available in various threads on this forum and others...most the products created seem to just be re-hashed versions of such free content (depending on the product creator of course)

    Before buying a wso check out the other posts from the person offering the wso. It's a good way to separate the wheat from the chaff.

      Will, excellent point, mate.

      In creating my various offline WSOS I always tried to partner with experts who had proven themselves offline in their own business.

      I found (before i started with wsos) that there were too many people with zero offline experience telling offline consultants how to run their businesses.

      Yet the only way to really learn IMO is in the school of real hard knocks or from someone out there who has gone through the hard knock process themselves.

    It really doesn't matter which course you buy if you don't get out and do it. I would imagine there is a lot of offline dust collecting on hard drives all over the planet. I hate cold calling but if I don't do it no one else will. The guy who wrote the course isn't going to do it for you.

    Short answer is there is no best course. You have to match what you are willing to do and put effort forth on and then match that to the courses available. It could be the best course in the world but if you won't follow the steps outlined it won't do you any good

      It all depends on action.

      But, still, you want to make sure you are getting advice from someone who is really "doing it" offline using strategies that are actually working right now.

      I also think it's important that any course allows for live interaction with the expert(s) in question.

      Bottom line is, people have questions they need answered. Making sales has it's challenges.

        I have to say Barry, you practice what you preach. The info I have gleaned from you has been exceptional, and so freely given.

        Look out for anything from Freudianslip27, Offlineman, Barry Plaskow and LiquidSEO. These guys have provided me with the best info and the best "after-sales" service of all the WSO's I have bought in the "offline" niche.

    There's a ton of really great ones, but I agree with a previous poster that the best way is to check out what other things the person has said before buying one to get a feel for their intelligence level on a given topic.

    Lots of great advice on this thread. I would suggest finding an area that has the most interest for you and finding all the material you can on the forum and on WSO's. You want to become the expert on that topic.

    Also, I would suggest learning a little about outsourcing, so once you get your foot in the door, so you can upsell.
