SEO Appointment tomorrow - what is the best SEO analyzer tool to create a report?

Hi All!

I have an appointment scheduled tomorrow morning with a local accident/injury attorney. I would like to create a report that analyzes his existing site for his SEO, ranking and how his site compares to the competitors that outrank him.

I have looked at RavenTools, Website Grader and SEO PowerSuite, but I am not finding what I want. Does anyone have a favorite tool that they use for this?

Thanks Warriors!!!

BJ

    Hi BJ,

    I use backlinkwatch.com

I take a screen shot of the number of links to prospects site and those of competitor.

Also point out the lack of keywords in the anchor text which backlinkwatch provides.

Or you can do it live at your prospects office.

    Hope that helps,

    Best,
    Ewen

Woorank is pretty decent. Might not be exactly what you want but it hits the high points. Also print out the reports of their competitor.

You can try the seomoz linkscape. This is actually I'm using if I want to compare my site to my competitors.

I must say I haven't used any special software, I generate the reports myself. I guess technically I use some basic software, but the results are what matters.

I typically use a combination of pulling a report from the google keyword tool that shows how often a search term is looked for on a monthly basis and then feed those keywords into market samurai rank checker.

I'll then download the report from market samurai and combine it with the google keywords report so it shows the keyword, how often it is searched for and where their website ranks (or doesn't rank) for those particular keywords.

It's just a simple excel spreadsheet that I end up printing and bringing to the client meeting.

I have not found one tool that presents all the data that I want.

I use a combination of Traffic Travis, Google Keyword Tool, Google Insights, and Facebook insights.

I post my report online via html so that it looks good. Then I show the report online while I am at the client.

There is no need for a leave-behind, because the client can reference the page that I made for them.

This makes a good impression because it shows that I actually made a special webpage for them.

    This is what I use,

    Free SEO Report | MetaFever.com

Does a full site analysis in a click of a button. Try it out.

woorank is pretty good and freeseoreport is not bad either. both of them can be brandable with a paid subscription i think freeseoreport is like $20/mo for unlimited reports that you can brand. they hit the major factors. hope that helps.

I really like the reports given by Market Samurai. It provides enough details to explain to the client what their site is lacking and what needs to be fixed. Another one to try out could be WebsiteGrader<dot>com

Can you set Market Samurai to auto-generate the reports for you? I've got my own copy and I don't see where I can do this. It's a pain to manually generate reports.

Internet Business Promoter does auto-generate client SEO reports although it's looking a bit dated. It even emails the reports automatically once generated. I do like that you can customize IBP reports which I've done to cut down on the visual clutter.

      Hi Chris,
I use Rank Tracker from Link-assistant.com
You can put your logo in and have it set to run the reports and email to your clients all on autopilot. Not cheap but works well. Plan on buying the plan for keeping it all updated as Google is constantly changing how they present serps so any company that is supplying ranking reports must invest in constant updating of their software.

I do them myself, takes a bit longer but you can make them much easier to understand. Some of the tools can get a bit technical for showing to prospects.

I use metafever and woorank for my free reports. I edit them before handing over to my clients. Anyway for clients who pay me, I do it manually. I have created my own template for paid SEO reports.

Which one is the free version?
Well, if there is no good free one, I don't mind pay a few bucks
