There are so many factors that determine success in SEO. In addition, the method of search engines to index the search results are constantly changing. Therefore, SEO can be said to be very dynamic because the method changed from time to time, and also SEO can not guarantee whether your website will appear in top search index or not

All you need to do to learn is read read and then read some more. Keep away from automated sortware that says it will do it all for you as they are more trouble than they are worth.

I don't think you realise what a broad question you are asking.

SEO is ongoing and something you will have to invest time and money into. It changes every day as Google changes it algorithms so you must keep up with the changes.

Start reading some basic SEO stuff then look up people such as Terry Kyle, here on the Warrior Forum.

If you get good at SEO, you can rank and solidify your rankings. This way you don't have to keep fighting to get a good position.

I guess I am misunderstanding your advice. Are you saying SEO can not guarantee rankings? That is completely untrue. How many sites are ranked highly that are SEO optimized vs. sites that have no SEO?

What??? SEO is not all about content. Content is just one piece of the puzzle. It's not the whole thing.

What is wrong with automated software??? It allows you to do more things in a shorter timeframe... How is that more trouble than it's worth?

Please, please, please, don't offer partial/false advice to others....

      Anup,

I'm not sure where you live, but how I got most of my
SEO knowledge was from meeting with other SEO
      people.

Websites like Meetup dot com are a good place to
find meetings about SEO and internet marketing
      in your neighborhood.

Other ways that I learned SEO was from online
SEO courses and trial and error.

When you need to increase traffic to your website, understanding SEO basics is essential not only to get that traffic, but to improve the quality of that traffic. After all, thousands of visitors per day to your website ultimately means nothing if they don't convert to a sale once there.

Keep the titles of your webpages no longer than 65 characters. Submit articles to the article directories and link it back to your website. Social bookmark your articles on the article directories to add juice to your links. Also, start a blog and create new content for it. After each post, ping the search engine services (use pingomatic.com). Link to your website from your blog, and watch your site get indexed in Google within a matter of days.

Be sure to fill out the META details for each page/article on your website. Last but not least, be wary of keyword density. Inserting your main keyword twice every 100 words is a good rule to follow. Use the service below to check your keyword density:
