I remember when I first turned my hand to making money online... Remember that phrase when it was new to you?

I thought I could sit in my living room and build an empire. Little did I know that business both online and offline does not function that way.*

If you want to succeed in the business world you must engage your local business community! They are your likely first customers!

Confident in your skills? Tell people, local business people. Think of yourself and your skill sets as being able to help the business community.*

Come out from behind your laptop on a regular basis and implement business development tasks. Things that will produce new customers and increase profit. You cannot do these things if your forever reading wso's and playing with wordpress!*

Network, engage, believe, enrich your own life and that of others by helping using your skills.*

Strip your daily tasks down...

- core tasks

Site builds, seo, outsourcing, keyword research, etc

-business development tasks

lead generation, networking, systems and process development, learning.

If you want to be commander of your own ship, you must steer her in the right direction at all times.*

    Spend most of your time in revenue producing activities.

    Back in the day I use to "get ready to get ready". I did everything I thought I should be doing... getting my ducks in a row. Set up the office, got business cards, biz phone, letterheads, read books, listened to cassettes, joined mastermind groups, signed up as a member of programs associated with my business and on and on, etc, etc.

    I was doing everything except the real things that produced an income. What it came down to was to get out from behind the desk and jump in the trenches and go to work! Once I discovered my delays to call to action, my income started to increase.

    Quit letting "decision constipation" slow you down. You just ca, can', can', can't, can't qu can't qui can't quite make make a... make a decision. LOL! Make the decision to work and do it now.
