Call Forwarding to Client for Lead Generation? Who Do You Use

I'm looking for a good service where I can put a phone number on my website and have it forward to my client for lead generation.

So every time he/she gets a call from the site I count it as a lead and charge him/her.

I know there are a lot of services that I want to find one that has good tracking information for this type of service that I'm offering to clients.

Thanks for any input you have.

    From what I have seen, but not tried Twilio + OpenVBX would do the trick. Also, the numbers are a buck a month. Vumber and the others are $10 for the first and $3 per each after that. OpenVBX takes a bit of work to install, but if you can do a hand (versus Fantastico) install of WordPress then you can install OpenVBX.

      Exactly what I was thinking earlier today. It would work well for this.

        Thanks to each of you.

        I can't tell from their websites if I will be able to see how long my client was talking with the prospect if it forwards to my clients phone which is the ultimate, but I'll call them and ask.

    You can sign up for Twilio and you'll get a $30 credit. You then just need to add a payment method and $20 to get your first number.

    Here's a little trick few people know about. You can forward numbers from twilio without having to set up a script or OpenVBX, etc. Just scroll to the bottom of the home page and look for the "Twilio Labs" link. Then go to "Twimlets". You can create a "Forward" twimlet. All calls are logged in your account along with the date/time and length, etc.

    We use a service by Ringcentral. The best thing to do is create unique extensions for each campaign you are running. The extension tracks calls that came in, length of call, etc. Since extensions are unlimited, it's the best way to test and run multiple campaigns and landing pages.

    I think keymetric.net will record your calls and everything if you want that. I think it runs about $10-$20 per line depending on what options you pick. Its nice to have the recordings because you can help clients with sales training, maybe use it as an add-on services and make another $20+ per month from clients that want it.
