It's been awhile...

Hi everyone! I was hot and heavy into offline stuff at the end of last year and stuff happened and I wasn't able to hit it as hard as I had intended.

Well on Facebook today, I was contacted by a guy I went to high school with. He needs an ecommerce site and wanted to know if I did that. Of COURSE I do!

So, looks like I got my first offline client! He's all paid up and I've found a great theme with most everything integrated into the theme that I'll need - shopping cart, shipping options, payment options, gallery, etc.

Wish me luck, and it's good to be back!

    What templates are you using wordpress or joomla? I am trying to get a good looking format for a blog on my site in joomla and are still in search mode - though i hear like most things in joomla, that the standard apps that come with it are adequate.

    That's good that you landed a gig with your high school friend. After you've done a good job for him, give him your business card and follow up on him via mail about referrals. But i'm sure you already had that in mind. Congrats!

      That's awesome Lisa. Sometimes good things just fall right into your lap.

      Quick question. Does that them include an actual ecommerce plug-in too? So it isn't necessary to install a separate ecommerce plug-in?
