301 redirects and seo
Hey all,
Met a business owner today who is starting up a new additional business. He has already registered 4 domains with his company name
i.e. companyname.com/.co.uk/.org.uk/.org
I advised him to look into a keyword rich domain and he has agreed to register one.
I just want to make sure I've got this right...:confused:
He wants to display companyname.com/.co.uk/.org.uk/.org on his marketing materials so what I propose to do is get the site built on the KW rich domain and do a 301 (permanent) redirect from the already registered 4 domains to the KW rich domain on which the site will be hosted.
Also all off page seo work will have to point to the KW rich domain and not the companyname.com/.co.uk/.org.uk/.org
Have I got this right?
