The real difference between a text and an email
The real difference though is in the psych of the consumer. To most of us a text message is more personal than an email and that is why texts get opened at a rate of 90%+ as opposed to a lesser email open rate.
I don't know how long this will last but I know that trends have held steady on this for about eight months now.
I have done email marketing in the past and now into sms full time and am currious if this is holding true for others in this line of work. I can only speak to my clients who are finding far greater results marketing with sms than they are with email.
