New strategy to get more offline clients!

In short...I just want to share this tip. I think it's a definite eye opener for your client(s) and yourself.

Here it is:
Along with your google pages, website design, blog setup, SEO, etc. Tell your client that their business may ALSO be included in SAT NAV updates.
This can get anyone excited - Just knowing that folks can find them while driving to or from a destination.
(Categories: mainly food, hotels, shopping) check your own sat nav for "places of interest" and you will see what other businesses would most likely be included.

This idea came to me in a flash - I thought there has to be a way for businesses to be included in SAT NAV directories, and it could only be one of maybe 2 or 3 ways.

1. you would have to submit your business to the sat nav companies and they pick and choose what businesses to include.........UNLIKELY!!!

2. The SAT NAV satelites updates their info from a database or listing (maybe Google pages?) and/or high ranking heavily linked websites ....MORE LIKELY!!!

3. Businesses would pay.....PAY WHO....UNLIKELY!!

Most of the GPS mappings are supplied to manufacturers like Garmin by a company called NAVTEQ. You can go in and set up an account and upload business data for your clients so that the NAVTEQ maps will be updated with that info here:

      Great tip thanks for sharing an overlooked gem! I'm already thinking of several ways to use this strategy.
