How many web design clients are you getting per week?

    Hopefully not any. We like to get SEO clients and we'll occasionally upsell a design package (at $2600 one-time) which is very basic 5-10 website.

    We don't push it, like I said, but sell about 2-5 of those a week.

    PS - design clients can be such a headache. Make sure you layout EXACTLY what they're getting our they'll just bulldoze there way to more then they're paying for.

    I get around 4 mobile websites a week and 1 web marketing client.

    Of course my reps get a lot more than I do.

    Basically as a business we are constantly approaching clients and after we got our first bunch we ask for referrals.

    Its all about building sites that the customer likes.

    For six months, I sold (rented) a little less than one a week. Now,
    I don't sell any. The residual income is at the goal I initially set.

    I love it. I have a small number of local clients that are very happy.
    Lost some early on. Was trying too hard. Then I saw a trend and
    could pretty much tell in advance if we were a "good fit." Now I
    have a group that over-all appreciates what I am doing, and I like
    them as clients. Zero stress. Of all the hundreds and hundreds of
    businesses out there, I have my 20-some. Works for me.

    Maybe 1 a month, they're like buses, they tend to come in groups, working on about 6 at the moment with another couple bubbling under. Been doing this (and seo) full time for over 2 years now, plus a local portal business. My income steadily increases and I do my best to free up my time for leisure and personal life as it does so. For me it's all about getting a balance between the two. Not there yet in either respect, but it's going the right way.

    I take on 2-3 clients per month that would require a web site design.

    We Include a website in a package and sell it as a project.

    I package what ever the client needs into a package and the out source what we need and build the rest in house.

    Our packages with web design and a ton more is sold at $9,000 to $12,000 per project.

    I include 2 months of seo in all our new projects and EVERY client so far has bought 3 + projects per year.

    It is all about Results. If you can produce., they will return and buy more!

    Willingly... maybe 2 new clients a week for web design. Sometimes we have to turn them down. It can be difficult to meet deadlines, but definitely worth it. If you charge appropriately and are clear with pricing then you will never have a problem with them trying to demand more. When you do favors or lower prices that is when they will take advantage of you, or just be the client you don't want.

    There have been times when current clients are just referring people to us so much or expanding their business more and more that it is extremely hard to keep up. If we continued to do cold calling we'd have to hire a few more developers in order to keep up. And that is JUST web design!
