The Power Of Being Interesting

After looking over some photos from some conferences I attended, I saw a number of friends from all across the globe. As a result, I remembered some of the things that struck me at the particular conference I was at.

We know that people like to buy from friends or people they know, but a lot of folks don't realize that you've also got to have a hook so that people will remember you.

For me, it has been easy... I used to be professional magician! I know some GREAT tricks that absolutely blow people away. I don't just come up and do a trick, but look for opportunities to show something interesting.

If you don't have some good tricks, you can have some good stories.

You can discuss some nice tidbit from your life.

You can wow a person with GREAT questions that will help build a business.

There are lots of things you can do.

Once you are interesting, people remember you... and that's a good point to get started selling your services.

Cheers,

Millard

I so agree with this Millard!....

Being interesting, usually by being interested in others is so important.

Your magician identity is very good... I always use my sense of humor. Being able to tell a funny story, or having a ready quip does set one apart from many other marketers.

Being likeable in general, to no one's surprise, is a priceless asset.

I think the most valuable thing you said was "Being likeable, to no one's surprise, is a priceless asset."

That is more important to me than ever being a magician. I rarely use magic tricks anymore to gain interest. BUT, being a magician, taught me how to be likeable.... How to deal with people in a friendly way.... How to be myself without fear... And to shrug off, so-called, slings-and-arrows.

Being approachable and helpful will bring in more business than you can imagine as long as you are out in the community being seen and heard.

      Cheers,

      Millard
