SEO question ~ Degree of Difficulty ~ Keyword Tool

I'm looking at a keyword using the Google Keyword tool, and it returns 12,000 Broad, 3600 Phrase and 1,000 Exact.

When I google the term in quotes, it returns 2,170,000. Without quotes it's over 2 billion.

The competition in the keyword tool is medium.

Is this a difficult term to rank for and using the above two places, and which one is more relevant?

    I would say thats difficult. Try to go after a KW that has less competitors when you ARE using quotes.

    You'll never know UNLESS you do a real test. There is not a single tool that can tell you if you'll rank or not.

    Plus, if it's a good BUY keyword, you can always push your way to the top with other stuff: example, videos.
