Hi,
im setting up a mobile site creation business and im providing them their mobile sites on a sub domain...

If i know their website and their cpanel details how do i access their login page?

and do most business use cpanel, or do some use other services?

and one last question lol, what details do you normally get of the clients e.g. email, phone number, domain name, etc

thanks

Are you looking for their cPanel login URL? If so, it would be domain:2082 or

    domain.com/cpanel

Alternatively, is this a VPS you are running it under? You can always access it via WHM.

If all sites are on same server, you can access cpanel using any of the domain beings hosted on that server by just adding /cpanel

    yourdomain.com/cpanel
    businessdomain.com/cpanel

cPanel is widely used when compared to some other control panel on the market

As for business, you should get first name, last name, business name (if available), email, address, phone

      thanks for the quick replys...

i already tried /cpanel on a couple of random sites on the web and it says things like 404 and page not found..

does that mean that aren't using cpanel? and if customers don't have cpanel then how do you do the service for them?

If you are creating subdomains for your clients from your own cPanel account, you won't be able to give them their own cPanel login because only root user or reseller users can create cPanel accounts.

By cPanel, I am referring to cPanel Inc.

You can only create their own account by having a reseller account or setting up your own VPS with cPanel (WHM).

By service are you talking about creating email accounts, checking website stats etc.

If yes, you can't because you will have to give them your cPanel login information to access all that information.

If all that matters to them is web stats, just install Google Analytics on those pages and give them login information to Analytics so they can see the web stats.

If your clients wish to check email, check cpanel stats etc, you will need to setup separate account for them and you can only do that through a reseller account or getting yourself a VPS with cPanel on it.
