Anyone using Voice Broadcasting for Offline Clients?

LeadnetPro, or iBuzz or any other b2b voice broadcaster?

Seems to be a lot of talk about this, and it could be another tool while visiting and "live" cold calling, etc.

Thanks

I used to use voice broadcasting pretty extensively for my bizopp work. There are a few companies I tried voice shot was the first, but at 12 cents a minute it didn't make sense. I also used iBuzz, which was at 3.5 cents a minute, better.... but after searching for a while I ended up with Message Communications www . messagecommunications . com. I signed up as a "Reseller" of their service so the price they gave was $0.007 per minute (7/10ths of a penny per minute) instead of their normal 1.2 cents a minute. Just tell them you are planning to sell it to your downline and you'll get their reseller rate. I don't do any "Cold" calling anymore, but this is more of a "warm" call.

Yeah... I never had problems. From my experience pretty much all of the providers are the same.... the only real difference is in the pricing and all the little added things they do. (I.E. Scrubbing lists against the national do-not-call list, removing wireless numbers, etc....). I still use them, although much less than before.

The problem with VB for offline marketing (internet marketing services) is that you really need to have the business owner (decision maker) to hear the message. Most of the time, they're not answering the phone.

Now, you might get a little traction if you had your VB message going later in the evening, around 5pm - 8pm when no one else is in the office but the business owner. But that will be hit or miss and you'll have to do some serious call volume to get results.

VB worked great for B2C because they were the decision makers. Services like DirecTv, Home Security Systems, etc... worked great. But since it's illegal now to do VB to B2C, it's a little tougher to get traction with this method.

Is it illegal to do a VB to purchased leads? I don't believe so if they requested to here more information from working from home.

A popular rumour is that is illegal to use voice broadcasting when calling people in their homes. That is exactly what that is, a false rumour. Pre-recorded messages are legal and a viable marketing option when properly prepared and delivered. However, there are numerous rules and regulations that vary from state-to-state. Indiana and North Dakota do not allow solicitations of any nature (including politicians) by either auto or predictive dialing systems. Please be sure that you are in full compliance before starting a press 1 broadcast into a persons residence. Be sure you have registered as a telemarketer with the National Do No Call Registry and get your sans number. To help you get started in proper compliance follow this link: Do Not Call Registry.

It's NOT illegal to get a wrong number is it? Then leave a message ???

Go to Fiverr have some chick with a young voice record a message for you,,,
      something like this:

"Hey Shaaneequa,, this is Brittany,, guess what!!! I just got a $1000 gas card from some website,, REALLY,,, you have to check out this website to get the FREE Gas,,
just go to www dot freegas dot kom.
I'm so excited I got FREE gas,,, I'll see you tomorrow at work!! Bye bye <-- girl's always say this, and it deliberately sounds unprofessional.

THEN call some residential numbers and leave your chick message. No not 100,000.
The residents will think it's just some silly chick with the wrong number leaving a message.

Nobody in their right mind will listen to that girl's message and think ,,,
"that's one of those damn RoboCalls,,, I'm reporting them to the FTC".

But give the resident 5 seconds and every one will ponder on FREE GAS!!!
Then they'll say something like " Gas is $4.00 a gallon,,,,Wrong number or not,,,, I'm going to check out that website".

This is one way to get somebody to your website or landing page.
Of course edit the message to arouse their interests in other offers.

Don't waste your time with VB -- the efficiency and leverage argument sounds good on paper, but you need to either walk in cold, call cold, or generate leads via the mail to get consistency.

However, it did work wonderfully for B2C.

I have to disagree with you even though I prefer cold call lead gen or even walking in, however I know for a fact at a recent small but focused event that a voice broadcasting campaign generated over 30 sales in 2 days with an annual gross sales under contract of 300K.

So yes automated dialing, voice broadcasting does work.

Our clients report that nothing annoys them more than answering a potential sales call and have some nonsense message playing about something they could care less about.

Be very careful with this...you might burn a bridge or three...

    Best,

    Sasha.

If it's a B2B call then you don't have to worry about violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. However, B2C would open you up to liability under the Act which would equate to $1,500 in statutory damages for each call if you don't have prior written consent from the consumer to deliver a prerecorded message. Even if you're getting a list from a third party that says they have consent, it isn't transferrable. There was a case that went all the way up to the Supreme Court in Satterfield v. Simon & Schuster that addressed the third party consent issue.
