Google Places citations...How can I find out how many and from where

Hey Steve,

You can see some of the Citations by going to the Places Listing and scrolling all the way down to the bottom.

The Citations are shown under "More about this place"

But, Google does not show all of them though.

Thanks Rob, I had no idea those were citations :confused:....always thought they were additional listings for similar services.

  Also, if you want a good list of "general" citation websites that you can submit to for future reference, check out Local Lasso, and click on the big spreadsheet image top right. The list is good for U.S.-based businesses right now.

You can goto google places and lookup More about this place, or you can google the address or phone number in quotations.
For instance, for Bobs Plumbing 1234 Main street, New York, NY 11223, 555-555-5511.
You should do a search of "1234 Main street" or "555-555-5511". Should give some results.

I did try out the local search toolkit with great success and it only took a few minutes to get the results back ....Great Free resource!

Fast desktop tool for a good price that keeps everything really organized for you and I'm sure it will be consistently updated as needed. Very handy and QUICK. I've been using it extensively for the Local Lasso project to uncover some awesome hyperlocal/hyperniche citation gems without any problems at all.

Are you looking for other sites the business details are on? Or are you looking for the review sites?
