FREE - How I landed a Client in 10 minutes thru EMAIL!

Ok so I'm gonna tell you how I landed a client yesterday in literally 10 minutes thru and paragraph's worth of text submitted to a contact form!

Here is the basis....

I built a site, just a regular blog....

but all my articles are about local niches.

I went after one that got ranked in 24 hours....and gets 1600 searches a month - exact match

i have a plugin called feedjit that shows real time stats - and i was getting visitors all day to this page

so i made a quick script and submitted it starting at page 2 of google for the keyword i was already ranking for.

I literally submitted this to the contact forms on the websites, not the actual email addresses, lol

By the time i got to the bottom of page 3 i got a phone call!

I got an email response before that though, but never heard back.

And I got a phone call the next morning...this morning.

The guy this morning was like, hold off for one hour (cause I told him I was suppose to call the other guy back in 10 minutes) until I talk to my boss...

They wanted to see if they could do a better deal...but I decided to go with the original guy, but they still said if it doesn't work out keep us in mind...

Now would you look at that....options.

The original guy actually called me when I didn't call him, I let it go to voice cause I was waiting on the other guys offer. Then he emailed me and told me to call him, lol.

The deal is $20 per lead. Every phone call, and form submission.

The other guy wanted to pay me for 100 leads, or $2000 a month.

But I said I'd go with the original cause there's no cap.

So here's what I did, in case I wasn't clear...

I made a blog with articles on local niches (keywords) - it's nice when there is no map results but its not a deal breaker for me.

I have a few pages climbing up, but one went straight to page 1

these articles are all info....no lead capture anything on them at all.

See what I do is create a lead capture page and put it on another site, then i redirect the informative article page to the lead capture page. eventually the lead page will replace the article page in google, this is how 301 redirects work (thanks Justin Anderson).

so i use the info page to win google over, then i hit the ole switcheroo.

This concept isn't new i know...its the online landlord thing, with a little twist.

I got the concept from the clipper magazine though....

People pay $27,000 a year to be in that book, cause it goes to 27,000 homes.

But the response rate from all the guys I spoke to was less than 1%...

they get less than 100 phone calls out of 27,000 homes! <insert regurgitation here>

But they were happy with that...

So I sat down and thought, "what makes the clipper better than me?"...then it hit me....they have a pre-gathered audience...

So I said..."man I can do that" and my response rate will be higher and trackable.

So my focus became - having a pre-gathered audience.

With a pre-gathered audience you can bypass the gatekeeper with an email just like I did.

Because you become money.

You're no longer selling, you are sales embodied lol

I did my research first too....I actually called local businesses and asked them what they thought of the idea...they ALL said yes!

And I even got "assignments" from it. I have clients on pre-order lol

I was a future business owner doing research so they all spoke to me and the gate keepers let me pass, and everyone had time for me...even restaurant owners that were literally at the register handling customers...

I'm a genius I know...but God made me this way so thank Him, lol.

My email was simple too - something like: Hey I got people looking for blank, I don't do blank. I'm sending this to 1 million people, first person to respond yada yada yada

Imagine if I woulda went past page 3 lol.

Also like I said i use feedjit, I have google analytics but feedjit is real time one, it's tracks better that google two (literally, I saw the visitors coming in and google said i only had 1 that day) three: feedjit shows you the keyword that the person used to find you on google, BUT it makes that keyword an anchor text backlink to your post....so your visitors literally create backlinks to your site lol, sick i know.

And your live feed is a link that anyone can see....so you can show it to a potential client so they can see the visitors coming in from your area or everywhere and what keywords they're using - then it's undeniable

so i think that's about it. hope this helps

    Congrats
How does this feedjit work...there is no info what to do with it...and where can I see visitors?

Awesome! Nice job on turning the tables and becoming the one being chased by business owners. You really should do a step-by-step WSO. I agree with the previous poster that this is 'sick.'

        "wikipedial model"

So, you just post one article under the other or add a new page for each post?

BTW. One blog for plumbers on one domain. Then another blog on another
        domain for electricians?

yeah just one article under the other, no pages, except maybe a contact us, tou, privacy policy maybe. but just posts.

and i keep the content varied not niched. so no the site wouldn't be like all about plumber from different cities.

the site is really opportunity centered.

so what even loophole i find i post about it. so i could be hip surgeons in dever, or plumbers in sante fe, it just depends on the opportunity.

Interesting concept. I have two sites that just in the past week have stopped dancing around and each has 10+ keywords on the first page, and several at #1 position. Time to start going after customers for them. Was considering which approach I would use to find the tenants. Thanks for the share.

Great thread, when you say your articles are about local niches. Do you mean that you post articles related to the niche you sold the site leads for? example plumber?

And what ongoing work are you doing for the site/articles/posts?

well i my posts sorta revolve around certain keywords for instance la jolla plumber - but google actually stated that they no longer really want articles based on keywords, but articles written naturally so i have the articles written informatively, with only a slight weight in the direction of the keyword, this way the article is of complete value and google can complain about that.

and i have a small staff that does all my link building, so i don't have to worry about my articles falling, only rising

Awesome results, well done. Just to clarify, you have built a single blog but will have articles about various different local niches on it?

feedjit gives you a widget that goes on your website, at the bottom of the widget is a link to see the real time feed in a new tab.

this tab shows you which post your visitor found, where they found it etc

when someone finds your post thru google though, feedjit will tell you which keyword they found it under.

they keyword will be in pink, and it's a clickable link. if you clicked it, it would take you to the post they found. so that keyword is actually a backlink to your site

      and they count too.

i know this for a fact. i used to make money in a way using sidereel and cpalead

i would try to rank for certain tv shows and at spot one for every show was a blogspot blog not always the same person, but always blogspot.

i noticed each one always had feedjit on it, so i reverse engineered their sites and they always had tons of backlinks from feedjit.

their visitors where literally building their backlinks, lol.....it was genius.

so i thought i'd borrow it, lol

Let me ask you something, and I know people like to debate that .com is the best domain extension. In your opinion, and from experience, would you say that .info domains would be suitable for this type of site since it's "informational?"

One other question for you, and then I'll stop picking your brain, lol!

Feedjit has a free version and then offers upgrades. Is the free widget sufficient in this case, or is one of the paid versions a necessity?

This sounds like a fabulous idea!!! Please pardon my slow brain, but do you think you could walk me through an example? Let's say I want to target Macon, GA. What's my first step? Keyword research? or build a blog? buy a domain?

Here's what I understand so far, please correct me where I'm wrong!

You build the site and put articles on it. Sounds like there are several pages on the site, maybe one page for each niche that you've written articles for? For example, plumbers, painters, drywallers in Macon?

Then, once the site ranks for any of those professions, you start contacting the ones that are already ranking for the keyword, it's just that they are ranking lower than you are?

Sounds like you put together a pre-scripted email and then copied and pasted to as many contact forms as you could find - but told them only one business would get that spot?

In your pre-research, what questions did you ask the businesses? Something like "Would you be willing to buy leads from me?" and "how much would you pay?" what were the assignments you got from those calls?

I'm sorry to ask so many questions - it sounds like an opportunity too good to pass up!! I'd sure appreciate any help you'd be willing to provide!!

      Sure thing....

I don't target a certain area, i kinda keep it random.

so i create the blog first with only being informative in mind....

then i find keywords within niches that get some traffic, enough to make the potential client money, and not just me money, cause that's my goal. i wanna be money to these guys.

so after i pick the keywords i have articles written with specific instructions like this is the keyword "blank" i want you to write a 700 word article about it, using topics like the pros and cons of blank, how much blank usually costs, and how to pick a good blank provider.

i mix this up and keep it random because google has stated that they don't want a site with articles that are similar in structure and content but just a different keyword variation.

so my posts stay pretty random, but im sure there are exceptions, there always are.

and yes you have the contact part down.

in my pre-research i just ran the idea pass them and they would usually just give me their feedback. i never really talk about it being on a lead basis, more so renting the page for a fee. i have asked how much though, but it always depended on the volume of business generated.

and the assignments were basically they would say - "yeah that sounds like a great idea, i'll tell ya what, if you get something going for blank then give us a call back"

and there you have it lol

      hope that helps

So, if you use articles for a variety of niches, how do you decide who to sell it to? Is it whatever niche picks most visits or higher ranking?

when you do 301 redirect, isn't your entire blog redirected to a new squeeze page?

In this scenario, you'd loose the potential of getting leads from other articles. Just asking :-)

i just type in the keyword i ranked for and start at page 2 (or the ads on page one)

and no, you can redirect just pages too, leaving the other pages in tact.

Well I would also like to add my thanks for the great information .

Already added the feedjit to a couple of sites and will read the google SEO stuff tomorrow after I have had some sleep.

After an 18hour day this was a good thread to read before I go off to lala land.
