Question of the Month - What Software would make your Offline life easier? Mine are...

1. Program that will insert the business owner's name in the subject line of emails when mass emailing.

ie - I get the best open-rate with the subject line: "Re (business owner name) So I cannot mass mail. I have to click new email -> write subject: Re (business owner name) -> adding same content -> and clicking send; have a program that I can list in an excel file emails in one columns and names in the next, and the program will mass mail the subject line being unique for each business.

2. An affordable google places scraper. I know there's Google Places Software | Google Places Ranking Software, but $347!??

What do you guys think? What software would you love to have for offline marketing?

    That's a good point about the mass mailing capabilities.

    You know, you could do that with an auto-responder, of course the prospects would have to have opted into your list. Maybe that could be a way to go moving forward. Put up a simple website advertising your services, maybe offering a free report or such in exchange for an opt-in.

    Technically, if you send unsolicited e-mails, they are considered spam. That would be true even if they were sent by software because, as I said, the e-mail would be unsolicited. If it is flagged as spam, the e-mails could be dumped into a spam folder and never be seen. I wouldn't want you to be wasting your time, you know. And of course, there are laws governing online business practices, so you want to be careful. The internet seems to be on its way to being more regulated, especially online businesses, or businesses that conduct/advertise any part of their business online.

    Check out Power Leads Pro. Do a search, there is a closed WSO, but the videos show you some of the old features. The new version is launching next week, and instead of having to buy the whole package, you can buy specific pieces (yellow pages, craigslist, google places et al.) You can scrape data and email DIRECTLY from the software. You can create HTML emails and put in shortcodes to actually pull data that is extracted and insert into the email. In fact you can auto generate HTML pages per prospect, auto FTP to your site and insert the link into the email. Extremely cool tool, but pricey if you missed the WSO. The new version is going to be incredible.
