Need the Skills, I wanna pay some bills!

I have looked into alot of WSO's and other products regarding offline marketing and it seems like most of them focus on getting clients. I am looking for a detailed guide to what I can do for the client. Can anyone point me in the right direction. What are most of these business's looking for? I guess the question is what am I selling other than facebook fan pages and google places? Thanks everyone!

    As much as you wouldn't think it, custom web design. I know it's easy to think well there are tons of companies out there doing that.

    The thing is if a small business needed a website and went to Google to find a company to do it, they are going to pay out the nose.

    They prefer to work with a smaller business or freelance type person.

    And custom websites will lead to SEO.

    Just a couple ideas.

    You could create their ads for them. Analyze what it is that their ideal prospect is looking for in a solution, and create ads and direct mail pieces (and even web pieces) for your client that will incite alot of sales.

    I promote QR codes and mobile friendly web sites to local business. I use them to get an easy entry because both are really hot now. I have created a step by step report on QR codes business and selling it as a WSO. You can find it in my signature.

    Get out there and talk with business owners.
    Have an SmartPhone with you.
    Show them how their website looks on a mobile phone.
    tell them that they probably are already losing customers due the fact that their business it's not mobile ready. Explain the benefits.
    Offer an Custom Mobile Website as a foot in the door.
    Easy sell.

    You just have to get out of your comfort zone and meet business owners.

    I still find that local companies either don't have a website or have one so poorly done, it could use a lot of work. Most of them also don't have a mobile website. Once you get that kind of work, you can upsell SEO, QR code campaigns and nearly anything else local companies need that you have the skills to offer.
