need help with QR codes and paypal

One of my clients wants to be able to accept paypal payments after his customers scan a QR code

is there anyway of setting this up so that the user can put in a price and pay via paypal or google checkout?

    Maybe the QR code could load the same URL a Paypal 'buy it now' button would load. This would take them to the Paypal screen with the description and price displayed.

    When you set up a PayPal button, you get both a form code and an email URL. Use the email URL in your QR code. Then remember that when they come out of PayPal the redirect page should be mobile ready as they will be on their phone. It shouldn't for example go to a download page.
