Google Places 7-Box Question

I've been searching around the WF for the answer to the following question but I'm not getting any real definitive answers; might be a dumb question but here goes:

Can organic search results rank above Google Places 7-Box or 3-Box?

I don't mean Google Places that are mixed in with organic search results but the actual 7-Box or 3-Box.

Searched for the answer to thisquestion for a little while but didn't get any clear answers; may be a stupid question but I would really like to know the answer.

I'm assuming the answer is no because I've never seen organic search results above the 7-Box or the 3-Box.

The answer is yes they can but it depends on what browser you use..

Google recently changed how they display the results. I dont believe it matters what browser you are using as the results are from Google not the browser.
Yes you can usually see a few organic results above the 7 Pack.

Sorry but Chrome shows different results than IE. I have clients who have listings above the maps listing in Chrome and not in IE.
