Two Cool Tools for Local SEO
I just found 2 cool tools for local seo that I wanted to share with everyone here on the Offline forum.
The first is GeoTarget checker, a nifty little tool that rates how well your website (or your client's website) is optimized for a particular geographic region. It's on SEOMoz and requires a free (not Pro) subscription that site. SEOmoz | GeoTargeting Detection Tool
The other is Local Keyword Checker. This tool combines all possible permutations of a keyword and location. For example, lets say you were doing a website on Salt Lake City restaurants. You'd put in the zip code you're targeting (and perhaps all zip codes within an X mile radius) and your restaurant keywords and the tool will come back with all the possible keyword combinations for that location and keyword. http://www.5minutesite.com/local_keywords.php
