Local offline search engine ranking
Hi,
I am just starting to build websites for my local area, I have come across a problem which I hope you warriors with more experience can help me.
I have a local keyword which is driving lesson (town), now I purchased a .com domain with the exact phrase and have so far got a site but not a lot of content.
On google.co.uk the keyword is ranked on the 3rd page but on google.com its ranked at at no.4 on the front page.
The top position on both google site is occupied by a site which isnt even optimised for my keyword.
Does anybody know why my site is ranked much lower on the google.co.uk search, is it because my domain is a .com and not a co.uk?
