What was your 'sweating nightmare" situation starting out in Offline

When you first started out in offline marketing, can I ask what was the thing that you didn't prepare for that stressed you out when you were on the spot, or possibly caused you to want to quit the business.

Basically I'm just doing some brainstorming for when I head out this week in my first forays to local businesses.

There shouldn't be any if you know all about web design, SEO or whatever you're trying to sell to that potential client.

      Sorry, can't agree with this.

Of course there will be things you sweat, especially in the beginning.

I sweated how I was going to get paid. Would I get asked questions I couldn't answer (you CANNOT know everything)....would I come across well, and would I be able to produce an acceptable result.

But, most of what i sweated never happened....
EDIT: I always WANTED to quit....but I never quit. Wanting to quit, seemed to be enough .:-)

Maybe overselling a particular skill....you might know it a little, but not a lot and then the client specifically wants that thing the next day

The only major thing that keeps me awake at times is how to get more clients
