Google doing away with Youtube Previews in local search?

OFFLINE MARKETING

I have attached a screen shot of a local video that I made for the search "Walnut Creek Homes for Sale." The video is showing up in the search listing (the middle result) but without the preview. One of the things that I was excited about was the picture of the video that usually shows up in the listings because it gets more people to click on the link.

Is this new or has Google always had Youtube listings without previews?

Is there a way to make sure your Youtube preview shows on the google results?

  What I meant was the listing is showing up but has no jpg of the video. Is that the new normal? I am seeing that on a lot of listings.

It happens sometimes but most of the time it shows the image.

yes it is normal. check the other pages, you will se it. I have my video ranked on the 1st page and the listing is on the 2nd.
